Privacy Policy

What we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Last updated: September 2026.

Humanity Media (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit humanitymedia.org (the “Site”) and how we use it. It applies to the Site only; when you listen on a third-party platform (Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and others) that platform’s own privacy policy applies.

Information we collect

  • Information you give us. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include, and use it only to respond.
  • Automatic technical data. Like most websites, our host and content-delivery network automatically log basic technical information — such as your IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and referring page — to keep the Site secure, reliable, and to understand aggregate traffic. This is not used to personally identify you.
  • Cookies. We use only essential cookies needed for the Site to function. We do not sell your data or use it for cross-site advertising.

How we use information

To operate, secure, and improve the Site; to respond to your messages; and to understand, in aggregate, which shows and pages are useful. We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

Third-party services

The Site is hosted with DreamHost and delivered via Cloudflare, embeds and links to third-party podcast platforms, and may load fonts from Google Fonts. These providers process limited technical data as described in their own policies. Following an external link takes you to a service governed by that service’s policy.

Your choices & rights

You can browse the Site without giving us any personal information. You may contact us at support@humanitymedia.org to ask what information we hold about you, or to request its correction or deletion, and we’ll respond in line with applicable law (including the GDPR and CCPA where they apply to you).

Children

The Site is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time; the “last updated” date above will change accordingly. Questions? Email support@humanitymedia.org.
